How Social Parlay collects, uses, and protects your information

Last updated: August 4, 2026

Information We Collect

Wallet Information

Social Parlay is a wallet-based platform. When you connect a Solana wallet we collect your public wallet address, which serves as your identity on the platform. We never have access to your private keys or recovery phrase, and funds in your connected wallet are always under your sole control. When you make a deposit, those funds move into a per-user program account on the Solana blockchain that the platform operates on your behalf for trading and settlement. Withdrawals can only ever be sent back to your own wallet address, and you can withdraw non-active funds — those not committed to open orders or positions — at any time.

Profile Information

You may optionally provide a username, email address, and profile details. Email addresses are used only for notifications you opt into (such as market settlements and account activity) and are never sold or shared with advertisers.

Usage & Technical Data

Like most web services, we automatically collect standard technical data when you use the platform:

  • IP address, browser type, and device information
  • Pages visited and actions taken on the platform
  • Session information used to keep you signed in

Blockchain Data

Transactions you make on Social Parlay — deposits, withdrawals, position trades, and settlements — are recorded on the Solana blockchain, which is public by design. This on-chain data is permanent, visible to anyone, and outside of our control. Please consider this before transacting.

How We Use Your Information

Operating the Platform

We use your information to:

  • Authenticate your wallet and maintain your session
  • Display your positions, balances, and trading history
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, and market settlements
  • Send notifications you have opted into
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service
  • Improve the platform and diagnose technical issues

Privacy Controls

By default, other users see an anonymized wallet handle rather than your username. You control whether your username is publicly discoverable through your profile settings. Your own view always shows your real identity.

What We Never Do

  • We never sell your personal information
  • We never share your email with advertisers or data brokers
  • We never access or store your private keys
  • We never touch funds in your connected wallet — deposits happen only when you sign them
  • We never send withdrawals anywhere except back to your own wallet address

Cookies & Third Parties

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (such as light or dark mode). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of service providers to operate the platform:

  • Solana RPC providers to read and submit blockchain transactions
  • Golf data providers for tournament schedules, fields, and live scoring
  • Image hosting for profile and content images
  • Infrastructure and email delivery providers

These providers receive only the data necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Security & Your Rights

Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect the data we hold, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure. However, no system is perfectly secure — the strongest protection you have is your wallet itself. Never share your recovery phrase with anyone, including anyone claiming to represent Social Parlay.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You can update your profile information at any time from your account settings. Note that data recorded on the Solana blockchain is public and permanent and cannot be deleted by us or anyone else.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
